Kids/ Youth Camp is a day-camp that takes place in Lutsk, Ukraine (east-Europe) every summer.  If you are planning a short-term missions trip, this is the place to be!

The anticipation is high.  It may still be snowing outside in winter but the young people in our neighbourhood already start asking us when the next camp will be.  Aged between 1 and 18, many are from dysfunctional families and with three months of summer vacation there is not much to do.  They love to hang-out with us and at the end of the day are already asking us if we will come back the next day.  The hope shining forth from their eyes keeps us coming back again and again.

Each day we prepare games (soccer and dodgeball are clear favorites), share Biblical principles and teaching from the Word of God, as well as interact on a personal level with the kids as we are able.  Our YWAM team works to build relationships with those who attend so we might be able to have a long-term and eternal impact upon these young people, because we realize they are the future of Ukraine.

This year there will be not one but TWO camps!! The first one will be a day camp in the city and will carry on between the 11th and the 29th of June 2012. The second camp will take place in July and we plan to take kids out into the nature. There we plan to spend some quality time with them, to play games and to share the love of Christ.
