While working on staff with YWAM Kyiv in 1997, I felt called by God to champion youth in Lutsk, Ukraine and simply be ‘salt and light’ in that area. A few years later I married a Ukrainian woman, Valya.  We spent lots of time in prayer seeking God and soon after the dream started to take shape. One more couple, Sasha and Alyona Yukhymchuk joined us in our vision. As a team of four we moved to Lutsk on October 21st, 2003.

Our first Discipleship Training School (DTS) took place in 2004 and since then many more students have gone through this life changing discipleship course.  One by one staff from Ukraine and other countries started to join the base and get involved in ministries.  This year, 2010, we have 14 staff and possibly several more coming before the year is out.

So far the Lord has blessed us to develop four main ministries in our location – Discipleship Training School (DTS), Family Ministry, Jewish-world Office (JWO), and Kids/Youth camp.  Each of these ministries runs large and small projects every year.  Fifteen missions teams from all around the world have been a great help to us.

We are now preparing to purchase land and build a place where we can run schools and develop this vision further.

We are looking forward with great expectation to the things that God has ahead of us!
